In the Municipality of Padova was held the press conference of presentation of the F.I.R.S.T. Foil project at the presence of the local politicians, representatives of regional CONI, of the Italian Fencing Federation and local media. The project manager illustrated the EU project and French and Dutch fencing club introduced their organization.
In the afternoon and the day after in the premises of A.S. Comini fencing club was held the kick-off meeting. Representatives of the Consortium shared working methods and tools, ideas and proposals for the implementation of the project activities. The project staff analysed all the 4 WPs and were identified a list of soft skills to work on.
The partnership expressed the will to involve young athletes also during the transnational meetings. For this reason in the next months will be evaluated concrete proposals in order to manage the participation of a little group of the most motivated athletes to the future events.
The 1st meeting was closed with the satisfaction of all the staff.
